Atanas Ruzhev Penazi
Atanas Ruzhev PENAZI was born in 1968 in the city of Burgas, Bulgaria.
He studied design and art techniques in Barcelona, where he created iconic restaurants and bars, including “The Fairy Forest” at the Wax Museum. He spent 12 years living and working in Barcelona.
During this period, he was also engaged in jewelry design and won 3rd place in a global Swarovski Master Class design competition.
After returning to Bulgaria, he has spent most of his time working as a designer of restaurants, bars, residential spaces, and offices.
An artist not by diploma, but by soul.
A self-taught creator who paints boldly, gently, and truthfully.
He does not follow rules — because no one taught him them — and that is the source of his strength and talent.
His artworks carry the imprint of his energy. Art lives within him.
He has been drawing since childhood, always postponing it — until today, when he can no longer stop. His style ranges from realism to hyperrealism.
His creativity follows the rhythm of his inner world — quiet and sensitive — while his nature is passionate and free.
He began working with acrylics and oils, later expanding into sculpture and jewelry — all expressions of the same soul.
Art is his path, and he discovers it anew every day.
